About these terms

These Terms of Use govern access to the RAIReady website and, unless separate written terms apply, use of the RAIReady platform. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it.

The service

RAIReady provides Responsible AI assurance advisory services and a platform for recording assessments, evidence, reviews, findings, decisions, monitoring and reports. Features and availability may change as the service develops. A proposal, order form or other written agreement may set additional or different terms for a client engagement; that agreement prevails to the extent of inconsistency.

Accounts and access

• Keep account credentials secure and do not share access with an unauthorised person.
• Provide accurate account information and promptly notify RAIReady of suspected misuse or unauthorised access.
• Use only the organisation workspace and functions you are authorised to access.
• Your organisation controls the roles assigned to its users and is responsible for removing access when it is no longer required.

Client content and responsibility

You and your organisation retain responsibility for information submitted to the service and must have the rights and authority needed to provide it. You grant RAIReady the limited rights needed to host, process, reproduce and transmit that content to provide, support and secure the service.

Do not submit information that is unlawful, misleading, infringes another person's rights, or is not reasonably necessary for the assurance purpose. You remain responsible for checking the accuracy and completeness of information and outputs used in a decision.

Assurance limitations

RAIReady supports structured assessment, evidence review and accountable decision-making. It does not replace legal, regulatory, clinical, financial, cyber security or other specialist advice. Framework alignment or a platform-generated report is not certification, accreditation, a guarantee of compliance, or a guarantee that an AI system is safe or fit for purpose.

AI risk changes over time. Decisions should reflect the defined scope, evidence available, limitations, open findings and changes after the review date. Your organisation remains accountable for deciding whether and how an AI system is used.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access another organisation's records or bypass security, permissions or separation-of-duties controls.
• Do not introduce malicious code, disrupt the service, probe for vulnerabilities without written permission, or use the service for unlawful activity.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, reproduce or commercially exploit the service except as permitted by law or a written agreement.
• Do not use reports or RAIReady branding to misrepresent certification, regulatory approval or an assurance conclusion beyond its stated scope.

Intellectual property

RAIReady and its licensors retain rights in the website, platform, methods, templates, software, branding and general materials, excluding client content. Subject to these terms and any applicable client agreement, RAIReady grants authorised users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the organisation's internal assurance activities.

Third-party services

The service may depend on or link to third-party services, data sources and integrations. Those services may have separate terms and privacy practices. RAIReady is not responsible for a third party's content, availability or acts, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

Availability, suspension and termination

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. RAIReady may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, non-payment or suspected misuse. Access may end under an applicable client agreement or if these terms are materially breached.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RAIReady excludes implied terms and liability that can lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to the extent set out in the applicable client agreement or, if none applies, to resupplying the relevant service or the reasonable cost of doing so where that remedy is available.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the courts of New South Wales and courts entitled to hear appeals from them. We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will apply prospectively from the published update date unless law requires otherwise.
